To think going on holiday alone will be shit?

Be honest here. And don’t answer as if you’re a frazzled woman with a job and parents and kids and husband and are lucky if you get to have a wee alone.

Every day is alone for me. So if I go on holiday alone, won’t it just be more of the same? Can’t decide ...

Funny enough, if you go onhols alone you can end up making many more friends / talking to other people, than if you went with someone; going with someone means you nurture that friendship. Going alone means you're more likely to talk to someone new.

That said, if I lived alone & worked from home by self, I would think about some kind of inherently social holiday. Coach group or structured activity, whatever.

I always holidayed alone when young, but I did work in offices with other people & had active social life at home so usually out in evenings with folk, too.

If you really are at home alone every day then I'm not surprised your miserable

but stating the obvious, the only to stop being alone at home every day, is to go out

so why not start with a holiday
