I was bloody obsessed with Barry Gibb, Dave from Shawaddywaddy, Alvin Stardust and later Richard Clayderman the wet pianist.
To be fair, I still fancy Barry Blush.

Does my name give it away? David Bowie, always.

fonteynmargot · 28/05/2018 21:33

Howard Jones Grin

Awrite · 28/05/2018 21:33

Woah - did someone say the ginger cop in The Bill? Me too.

Oh, and I quite fancied the gruff ginger guy in Keeping Faith that was on recently.

CoolCarrie · 28/05/2018 21:34

The three Davids, Bowie, Cassidy and Essex
Marc Bolan
Michael Praed
Timothy Dalton
Parker Stevenson from The Hardy Boys
Keanu then, and now!

faceremovinghaircream · 28/05/2018 21:36

Ooooh yes, Paul Nichols.

Awrite · 28/05/2018 21:41

Oh, and I seriously loved the guy from the first Terminator film. Michael Beihn or something. Oh man ...

onemorecupofcoffeefortheroad · 28/05/2018 21:44

Robert Plant
David Coverdale
Donny Osmond (in the dim and distant past)
David Soul (Hutch in Starsky and Hutch)
Debbie Harry
It seems a lot of people who had names beginning with D

loudaloneknows · 28/05/2018 22:06

Philip Schofield
Bryan Robson
Matt Lorenzo (sports reporter on London Tonight)

It's weird. I'm bisexual but my early TV crushes were all guys. Don't remember my first girl crush.

savagebaggagemaster · 28/05/2018 22:13

Roger Taylor (drummer Duran Duran)
Morten Harket
Lee Majors (The Fall Guy, anyone?)
The actor whatsisname in the fantasy / drama series Prophet (anyone remember that?)
Mike from Neighbours (preferred him to Scott aka Jason D)
River Phoenix (fancied him more after My Own Private Idaho for some reason?)
De Niro
Mel Gibson before I discovered he'd be in trouble for being anti Semitic
Oh I also quite fancied Steve McQueen!

TheNemesisOfLame · 28/05/2018 22:17

Yep also the older brother from Butterflies.

Richard Chamberlain in Shogun (I would put on my dressing gown/kimono and a vaguely oriental headpiece from my mums office Christmas party to enhance my viewing experience Blush

Charlton Heston in the Planet of the Apes.

And weirdly James Robertson Justice. So very wrong.

Helendee · 28/05/2018 22:20

Richard Gere in 'Yanks'... faint!

People you really used to fancy in the olden days
FASH84 · 28/05/2018 22:20

Sean Bean as Sharpe until DH worked on set with him and relayed the hilarity and issues he caused for the costume department with the stains he would leave in his (period appropriate and not easily replaceable) undergarments!! 🤮

OneWildNightWithJBJ · 28/05/2018 22:22

Michael J. Fox
Jon Bon Jovi (hence my name!)
Luke Perry
Jason Priestly
Billy Warlock (Baywatch)
Corey Haim
River Phoenix
Keanu Reeves
Brad Pitt
Johnny Depp
Craig Logan (Bros)
Robbie
Donnie from New Kids

metalmum15 · 28/05/2018 22:23

Oh yes, I forgot Michael Hutchence. Such a beautiful man, and what a waste of talent. He was my absolute idol when I was about 14. Also, Corey Haim and Christian Slater.

OneWildNightWithJBJ · 28/05/2018 22:23

Ooh, forgot Guy Pearce in Neighbours days.

RadioDorothy · 28/05/2018 22:23

First crush was also Dave from Showaddywaddy. I saw them live at Clacton, I was about 9!

Shakin Stevens
Nik Kershaw
Marti Pellow
Bit of an odd one, but Hugh Laurie (way, way before House, circa 1983, but then all over again post-House 20 years later)

But my one and only, the man I have dribbled over adored from afar for many, many years - Kelly Jones of Stereophonics. I was a grown woman of 30 when I fell for that voice, those eyes...

Helendee · 28/05/2018 22:24

FASH

Oh gruesome! Are we talking skiddies or over-excitement here? Confused

Lulusmother · 28/05/2018 22:25

Lewis Collins
John Duttine
David Essex
Jimmy Osmond 😱
One of the blokes from Madness with black hair

Charley50 · 28/05/2018 22:27

Lewis Collins as Bodie

liz70 · 28/05/2018 22:30

At some point or other:

Gary Numan
Paul Weller
Gary Kemp
Nick Rhodes
Nick Heyward
Boy George
Andrew Ridgley
That prison officer bloke from Yorkshire in PCBH

There were probably more...

youdialwetile · 28/05/2018 22:38

Michael Caine. He was the lead in a TV adaptation of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. I was at an impressionable age.

Becca8675309 · 28/05/2018 22:49

MICHAEL HUTCHENCE
