Baby's name

My friend's baby is due shortly and she has decided on the name but when she told us what it's going to be I was a bit shocked. It's Ava Brown.

Is it just me or is anyone thinking what I'm thinking?

The Hitler association was the first thing I thought of, too. I'd definitely mention it to the friend.

It was the first thing I thought of. You have to tell her, and let her decide. She may already know, and be happy to ignore the link.

That said, I am occasionally gob-smacked when what I thought were well-known facts come as new to others!

Years back, myself and a friend were queuing up to see "Titanic" on the opening night. We're both former art/design students, and we were speculating about how they would show the sinking - CAD, models etc.
Some women behind us were tutting (!). My mate asked them what was wrong, and one said "You've given the ending away!"
