UpstartCrow · 25/05/2018 21:26

Why is this an emergency? Or is that a click bait title to get people to read it?

VivaKondo · 25/05/2018 21:27

Wow that wasn’t banter. That was sexual harassement.
I’m not sure why he thought this would be ok to say to anyone, let alone someone doing their job by serving them their food.

Doe she have form for that sort of attitude of Male entitlement and disrespect?

FatherMacKenzie · 25/05/2018 21:29

That is sexual harassment and he did it to “punish” her because he finds her rude. He’s a cunt. Fact.

FizzyGreenWater · 25/05/2018 21:32

Wow way to go to pick a loser OP.

loooooooow quality

Gazelda · 25/05/2018 21:32

Any respect I ever had for him would have immediately evaporated.

Glassofredandapackofcrisps · 25/05/2018 21:33

he said what?

hes lucky he didnt get punched in the face-rude bastard

GreatWesternValkyrie · 25/05/2018 21:39

Advise him not to attempt conversing with women in future, it’s clearly not his area of expertise.

Glumglowworm · 25/05/2018 21:40

Your post is an incoherent jumble. Your DH is a dick. Congrats. Biscuit

VanGoghsDog · 25/05/2018 21:40

Was this just a 'joke' he told you or something he actually said to someone at work?

DailyMailClickbait · 25/05/2018 21:42

I'd be completely revolted if a stranger said that to me whilst I was serving them food.

What exactly does he find funny about pretending that he stuck his fingers into the vagina of a woman he doesn't know?

ShweShwe · 25/05/2018 21:45

I think we've all - at some time or other - met someone like your DH. He sounds tragically immature and as though the word 'boundaries' means nothing to him.
Sorry for you.

lemonsunshinecake · 25/05/2018 21:46

He sounds like a teenager

squiggleirl · 25/05/2018 21:46

It's not banter when the conversation starts with describing the woman as rude. It's a shitty response, and a horrible way to degrade a woman because he didn't like her pulling him up on his behaviour. The key to knowing what is banter and what isn't, was did he say it with the view to making her laugh or his mates laugh. If it was to make his mates laugh, and not her, it's not banter.

I hope the woman reports him. Where I work he'd face a written warning for that behaviour. Sad thing is, both men and women have come to consider such comments as acceptable banter, and she'll probably say nothing, and instead have to endure the potential for further wholly inappropriate remarks.

metrorider · 25/05/2018 21:46

YANBU, he's joking about penetrative sexual assault on a waitress.

mistermagpie · 25/05/2018 21:47

I'm could never be with a man who thinks that is even remotely acceptable to say, let alone amusing. Poor you OP being stuck with him.

FatherMacKenzie · 25/05/2018 21:49

He sounds like a teenager

A little insulting to teenagers. Most of them have more sense.

lemonsunshinecake · 25/05/2018 21:52

@FatherMacKenzie Yes, I agree! I meant to add 'but that's insulting to teenagers '

VladmirsPoutine · 25/05/2018 22:07

LTB.

coffeebreak38572 · 25/05/2018 22:12

As someone who works in a customer service role. I occasionally get men making comments/jokes of a similar nature. It's creepy and I cringe inside.

chequeplease · 25/05/2018 22:17

No woman appreciates humour like this. He'll do well to learn this!
Show him the responses on this thread.
Makes him sound sleezy and creepy.

LuckySantangelo · 25/05/2018 22:28

Ooh mumsnet at its best, rude keyboard warriors.
Yes, it's a bit of a ramble coz I'm a bit pissed, I'm not a troll, ask MNHQ.
Yes my dh is a dick

OP posts:
Meralia · 25/05/2018 22:30

Did he actually say this to the woman, or did he just tell it to you as a joke?

clearingaspaceforthecat · 25/05/2018 22:36

and you're with him because?
