...like technology, fridges, screens, etc etc

I just find this really annoying and long to peel it off and reveal the lovely smooth shiny surface underneath....??

Anyone else feel like this?!

That actually happened to me recently jaojo.

Bought a new watch a few weeks ago and for a few days didn't realise it had a protective cover on the face and back. Was a bit disappointed that it wasn't all shiny until I noticed that small telltale edge.

Oh the unmitigated joy. Still getting a kick out of my shiny new watch face every time I look at it.

My parents do this, they have the stickers on EVERYTHING. iPad, bose speaker, phones, any new appliances. It’s literally only those two in the house, no child visitors or anything. I’ve no idea who they think is going to scratch all these items. And it’s looks beyond shite.

I left the blue film on the glossy door of our ikea tv unit for several months due to not noticing it! It just made the brown door look slightly grey.

seems like most people feel like this!! (on MN at least!)

I want to hear from more "leaver on-ers" please tell us why you do this most infuriating thing???

We had our microwave for about 2 years and thought the buttons were cracking until we realised there was protective film on them!

It was like getting a new microwave when we peeled it off

I leave the film on things because it's just so satisfying pulling it off that I like to enjoy the anticipation. Once it's gone, it's gone.

Protective film is one thing it’s the stickers that tell you about the fridge’s capacity or the washing machine’s speed that make me itch.
