Posting here for traffic.

Is it possible to arrange an emergency hearing/interim child arrangement order on a Sunday - if so, how?

Yes, there is a duty judge. See here:

Thank you so much. Feeling horribly out of my depth here!

Hoping your ok. There is a legal board ... might be worth a post there

Unfortunately, they’ve advised we need to seek solicitor advice on Monday morning so just a case of sitting tight tonight.

I don’t want to go into too much detail as it will be quite identifying but thanks for your support. I think once we’ve sought advice tomorrow I’ll be a regular on the legal boards...!

I am assuming ex has kept child . There really should be a process that stops this happening

TQBD · 20/05/2018 18:18

Not quite Starlight - the child due to be returned hasn’t been, but for good reason and at her own request.

How old? I would ask in legal but it might prove prudent to return a younger child and ask the courts to deal with the issue urgently, particularly if you are in a he said/she said kind of situation. Wikivorce might also prove useful for considered advice.

Thank you :) the child is over 12 so comfortable their view will be considered.

All options this evening have been exhausted so I won’t make further comment now until legal advice has been sought. Thank you for those who’ve posted - it’s incredibly helpful and has settled some anxiety.
