Had a lovely day yesterday, climbed Glastonbury Tor, nice lunch, visited family at a campsite, made it a royalty-free zone. Best thing was the roads were almost empty! More events that glue everyone to their TVs and I can go out more and enjoy myself pretend the world isn't an overpopulated mess.

No! I don’t like crowds at the best of times and just seeing the huge amount of people there on tv made me very uneasy.

Sparklingbrook · 20/05/2018 10:21

Better view on the TV. Wouldn't have fancied the heat, the crowds, the getting there etc.

Ds is at university not that far away, but when sounded horrified when I asked him if he'd considered going.

God no! Hate crowds like that. Where would they have gone to the loo?!

siwel123 · 20/05/2018 11:04

No. Find the royals irritating and hate them with a passion Grin.
My wife and kids wanted to go, but then they looked at the costs and changed their minds. You got a better view on the tv or laptop at home, could go to the toilet whenever, not deal with crowds.

Wouldn't have been feasible for me but I agree it looked really fun!
