To wear black top and white trousers to a funeral?

Recently had a baby and no longer fit into many of my pre baby clothes.

I’m trying to find a smart outfit suitable for breastfeeding - would a black wrap top be ok with smart white trousers or is the white a no no?

Thanks

Babies don’t need to wear black

Thank you all! Wrap dress is also too short at front (which is bizarre as it’s a maternity dress) so supermarket sweep for trousers it is

Family had said not to worry too much about black but I’m glad I checked here as wasn’t sure. Was just trying to find something presentable! Will find something in Asda I’m sure!

No one will expect the baby to be in dark or muted colours so don't worry about that.

Funerals tend to be less formal than they used to be but I wouldn't wear white trousers, casual black trousers would look better than formal white ones for a funeral.

Asda have some black trousers and thick leggings that would be fine for a funeral. H&M have some wide leg stretchy black trousers in for £13 that are smart enough for a funeral, I wore some to a funeral yesterday, but are comfortable to wear anytime.

I'd go for black trousers as well. The majority of funerals I've been to (I do seem to go to a lot) people tend to go for black bottoms and jacket/coat /cardi. Maybe a coloured top underneath .
