AIBU to be surprised at this?

225 couples got married on the same day I did, would have expected more (don't know why).

Cool link! We were actually on honeymoon with a couple who got married on the same day - weird at first but spent a fair bit of time celebrating with them 🥂

2000 odd on a date where the average is 400 and something. Saturday in December.

We don't actually figure in that number, as we didn't get married in the UK.

However, it's a winter date in the UK (summer where we got married), so I thought the number would be a lot lower.

What I found really interesting from that article was that only 58% of weddings in 2015 took place on a weekend. Really ?
