225 couples got married on the same day I did, would have expected more (don't know why).

I think mine was so long ago it's not showing...

I have met someone (briefly my boss) who was married on the same day as me but half an hour later

Well I got married to DH on apparently the most popular day for weddings according to this!
7,750 people including me and DH, got married on this day in September 1995 - I wonder how many of the 7,750 are still married?

Over 6000 for our ceremony (summer Saturday), only 350 for the legal day (a weekday 10 days earlier).

33! Boxing Day.

It’s stupidly never occurred to me that, that date would be unpopular. For us it was perfect as our families were together so we were able to diprise them with a shot gun wedding without much planning.

Our registra told us Boxing Day used to be really popular as it was one of people’s only holiday days!
