To say Meghan and Harry have no right to call themselves humanitarians

I know there are lot's of conflicting reports but from what homeless people in the area are saying and video clips that are circulating they really are 'cleaning the streets' of homeless people in preparation for the royal wedding. I think this is just disgusting, especially taking into account that Meghan and Harry call themselves 'humanitarians'. I'm usually a person who quite enjoys the royals but this makes my blood boil

'In it for the money' - FFS!

anyway , don't slag Hazzer off, he fought for his country in Afghanistan..smile ,doesn't even seem that self-obsessed tbh.
Good point, but there's many war vets sleeping homeless, and tbf Harry got pulled out when he seemed to be in danger.

I actually live in Windsor I go to the town centre fairly regularly. I was having coffee this morning in the town centre (our house was being viewed) and watched the police do a security sweep - yes they do move people's stuff but they do not take it away that I saw. That included the guy who has slept in the bus shelter for months and several other regulars. The police also move chairs/tables/signs/flower planters etc on pavements... It's a really busy town centre due mostly to tourist traffice and it's not exactly down market. There are places for homeless people to go but to be frank they seem to like Windsor due to the rake they can make off the residents/tourists.

I don't believe Prince Harry and MM do refer to themselves as humanitarians and I don't believe they have control over what the security services/police do to ensure the safety of them and the crowds they are expecting.

If Harry and Megan put out a statement saying that they didn't want homeless people to be moved out in their name, I'm sure the council would listen.
The royals (and most other celebrities) just use charity work as posturing. Selling even one royal tiara would raise enough to get many homeless people off the streets. They hoard their wealth and spend it on palaces, holidays and ridiculous amounts of clothes.
If Bill Gates was British, he would make a much better Head of State than the Windsor freeloaders. He has lots of money, but gives a huge proportion to charity.

Java is correct. There are the genuine homeless people who for all sorts of reasons - mental health etc stay around Windsor. There was a young girl with a beautiful dog who the locals looked after. There are also a lot of chancers. Those are the people who need to be moved on. Its not just a question of offering the homeless a room/bed/flat and all the issues are over. Mentally what then happens to them then if they are then required to run a house, pay bills etc.

The chancers just ship them out!

By the bigwigs who'd have to fill in the paperwork if they lost an heir to the throne on their watch! And only after the media had decided to put it out there for all to see & endanger not just him, but any poor sod that happened to be near him.

Prince Harry is no humanitarian. He comes across as selfish, petulant and immature. Megan Markle, meanwhile, seems completely self-absorbed, and is little more than the ultimate social climber. As for their farce of a wedding, like Brexit, it is once again making Britain a laughing stock worldwide.

It was the Australian media. The UK media had a self imposed embargo which they didn’t break.
