BaronessBomburst · 15/05/2018 22:20

Fig rolls!
With ginger nuts a close second.

blackbunny · 15/05/2018 22:21

cloudyweewee · 15/05/2018 22:21

I love Lincoln biscuits, but haven't seen them in the shops for years.

blackbunny · 15/05/2018 22:23

LuxuryWoman2017 · 15/05/2018 22:25

Lotus biscuits Bunny? They are good. I buy big packs from Poundland

LastOneDancing · 15/05/2018 22:26

Custard creams without hesitation.

Although I got very invested in a thread (on here?) about the buildings in the Aldi fake Choco Leibniz a while back and switched loyalties for research purposes.

Katedotness1963 · 15/05/2018 22:27

Simmers chocolate chip gingers
Walkers raspberry and white chocolate shortbread

BabloHoney · 15/05/2018 22:28

I’ve forgotten if Jaffa Cakes are cakes or biscuits under snack laws. If they are biscuits, then Jaffa cakes Smile

liz70 · 15/05/2018 22:29

Fig rolls, malted milk, oaties, chocolate digestives, I'm sure there are more...

liz70 · 15/05/2018 22:31

"Lincoln biscuits"

Them's the round ones with the little nubbles all over one side?

Guna100 · 15/05/2018 22:53

Ginger nuts

BBTHREE76 · 15/05/2018 22:53

A Jaffa cake - it’s not a cake! 😉

BananasAreTheSourceOfEvil · 15/05/2018 22:54

a gingernut or a chocolate digestive

MrStarkIDontFeelSoGood · 15/05/2018 22:58

Toffypops

dontgobaconmyheart · 15/05/2018 23:34

love a biscuit! (dark) chocolate digestives, lotus biscuits with coffee and don't mind a chocolate malted milk, or fox's extremely chocolatey chunkie cookes. The best ever biscuits for me were Boasters, the ones with hazlenuts in them- discontinued though, i was/am gutted!

LightDrizzle · 15/05/2018 23:43

Hobnob, without chocolate.
I take my chocolate neat.

FrozenMargarita17 · 15/05/2018 23:52

Crunch creams. But I don't eat biscuits anymore :( so I'll just dream of them

Petitepamplemousse · 16/05/2018 00:00

Chocolate caramel digestive. Or a Fry’s crunch cream.

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 16/05/2018 00:18

Rich Tea

M&S Chocolate Rings (more like a chocolate bar)
Jaffa Cakes
Lidl shortbread with chocolate chips
I also like Fig Rolls

WilyMinx · 16/05/2018 06:41

I am not a huge biscuit fan, but I do like Viscount and mint Clubs.

toomuchtooold · 16/05/2018 07:08

Tunnocks caramel logs, chocolate digestives and oatcakes. Luckily this seems to be the choice of most British expats where we live so the posh supermarket carries all three Grin

The Aussie Classic - Tim Tams

Argeles · 16/05/2018 07:09

Bourbon

Namechangezzz · 16/05/2018 07:18

In tax law a Jaffa cake is a cake not a biscuit and therefore there’s no VAT on them, unlike biscuits

They decided because when they go stale biscuits go soft and cakes go hard, and having accidentally eaten the last stale Jaffa cake in the office once, I can testify to them going rock solid. Ugh!

But my faves are:

  • ginger nuts (the spicier the better)
  • fruit shortcakes
  • jammie dodgers

And I’m rather partial to a bit of decent, buttery shortbread too. Mmmmmmm Biscuit
