I can't pick a nursery!

I am going back to college for three days per week in September so DS (will be 13 months) will be going to nursery. Can the ladies ( and gents) of Mumsnet pick one for me please, I've compared the two below:

1:
At the bottom of the road
Provide own nappies and wipes, sippy cup, milk
Cots within baby room
3 age rooms
Smaller outside space
Baby fits in their routine
Three meals a day provided
Smaller site
Sensory room
£780 per month

2:
5 minutes drive / 15 minutes walk
Nursery provide nappies and wipes, sippy cup, milk
Separate sleeping area with cots
4 age rooms
Bigger outside space (2 different areas)
Follows babies current routine when in the younger rooms
Three meals a day provided
Larger site
•£862 per month

If you were me, what would you do? Both nurseries had a nice feel to them and were a lovely, positive environment.

Go with the one you feel most comfortable with. You seem a bit more positive about no2? The best advice I got was that while convenience is important, it’s much more convenient to drive/walk the extra distance but be then be able to get on with your day confident that your DC is happy and well looked after (so no need to worry or wonder what’s going on) than to have a shorter commute but spend half your time stressing about what’s happening when you’re not there

When I was looking for my dd to go into nursery when she was 1 I went for a similar option to no 2 but I think it largely depends on your child!

Mine was in a really good routine that I wanted to carry on, and she didn't sleep well unless in relative darkness / quiet so a separate sleeping area was really important. She also loves being outside so the extra space was a bonus.

Do you have any cost considerations and is the extra distance a problem?

Thank you for your replies. Number 2 is fresh in my mind as I went to see it today, but I think i am swaying towards it. The cost is a factor in the decision yes.

Yes I agree separate sleep room, food provided and better outdoor space would swing it for me. DD is going to a CM that will add 15 mins to my commute to drop off. 5 mins wouldn't phase me.

Option 2. The separate sleeping and routine and outside space would sway it for me.
However, I do think a big factor is 'the feeling' you get rather than anything else

Regarding price...once you take into account taking your own nappies and wipes they will probably work out similar value.

Have you looked at the ofsted reports? Have you got any friends or neighbours who use either nursery and could give their opinions?
Have you popped in spontaneously to visit. I worked in nursery's and if owner knew a visit was coming she would make us all tidy and set an activity up (which we usually had anyway but she wanted it to be staged perfect )
