Banana Mystery

Namechanged for this but need some Mumsnet wisdom. Ocado delivered some bananas this morning in our usual delivery. I gave them to DH and asked him to put them in the fruit bowl. Got home from picking up the kids from school and came to give them a snack. No. Bananas. Anywhere.! Texted DH asking him where he has put them - he can't remember any bananas!! I know I'm not losing the plot as they show up on my receipt! Have searched high and low including all the bins and cupboards... where have my bananas gone??? AIBU to LTB?

I'm glad you found them, but I'm a tiny bit disappointed that it didn't turn out to be a monkey burglar

well where else would you put them . . . A few days ago I put a cool cup of coffee in the microwave to reheat , went to get it and it had vanished ! ( no one else in the house ) .

looked on work top, table where I had been working , nope .- - bugger it I will make another - - puts coffee pot on opens fridge for milk , , , one very cold cup of coffee !

I was going to say, hope there's no spiders in there! Sod's law says it would be the one bunch you misplaced... 🕷

I like a baked banana myself....!
