For playing NWA loudly in the garden

13 year old DS can't hear as he's upstairs with headphones on.

Will my neighbours be offended?

I don't actually want to fuck the police FWIW.

ODB is next.

I must be in a minority because I really don't mind hearing my neighbours' music when I'm out in the garden during the day or evening, even if that music's not to my taste. We have a speaker that we rest on the windowsill so we can listen together as we're doing the gardening or just relaxing in the warm - how can you do that with headphones?

My NDN's son had a music playlist on yesterday quite loudly and I enjoyed having a little dance in my kitchen listening to it, I've currently got a bit of Pink playing in the background whilst I'm tidying (not doing anything) - not too loud I don't think but loud enough for me to sing and no one hear! So no I don't think yabu unless you have it on really fucking loud!

I can't stand rap. All the N words and fuck the police stuff just makes it awful.
Put headphones on.

The best way I've ever heard Coldplay described was 'A band with nothing to say but given every opportunity to'

dontbesillyhenry · 15/05/2018 15:09

Wow op you're like so cool

A4710Rider · 15/05/2018 15:09

NWA is really quite offensive. Although I do like straight out of Compton.

This is angry music, is your DS ok?

viques · 15/05/2018 15:14

I hope this is a reverse, can't be bothered to read through, but anyone playing any music in their garden deserves to walk in dog shit in their best shoes. Harsh, but fair

BlueBug45 · 15/05/2018 15:24

LOL

I use to live next door to neighbours who played music I liked. I once went round and told the bloke next door to either turn it up so I could hear the words or turn it down. He was like Shock

Kerantli · 15/05/2018 16:08

DP is an exDJ, so we often used to have people coming round to tell us to turn up what he was mixing at the time.

I don't mind music playing in the neighbours garden, I do object to music blaring at 2am with a drunken rendition of Let It Go to go with it.
