I have accepted an offer on a new job 2 weeks ago and start in 3 weeks. During the time of the interview they asked me if I had any holidays booked and I did not.
Now with the new job and a friend free to go somewhere, I am in a position to be able to go on one.
AIBU to email HR about this and let them know I am hoping to book a summer holiday for a week? I don't have any specific dates in mind so would ask them when would suit them for me to take time off.
