pregnant breasts are the worst

That’s just it. I feel like moaning. Before becoming pregnant I had no boobs really (size A). Now they’re about a C and I’m 9.5 wks.

Was delighted at first until the left stopped growing. The right is getting bigger by the day. Give it a week and I’m going to look utterly ridiculous, but there we go.

Just thought I’d initiate a light hearted thread about the joys of breasts. Feel welcome to add!

I don’t think my breasts got the message about being pregnant.
I was sneered at in Mothercare for trying to buy a 32A nursing bra when I was 8 months pregnant.

“We don’t make them THAT small, dear.....”
Never went back! Got an ordinary bra in M and S and then never wore one of the stupid things again after the kids.

Maybe I posted in the wrong place. I didn’t ask if I was being unreasonable or not. I just wanted to have one communal moan about how breasts are a constant source of annoyance. Not who’s are worse etc. I know my boobs aren’t as hard to have as some. Thanks for all the replies though!

@babdoc I’m sorry to hear that. People don’t realise how often women get shamed for having small breasts, especially if they’re pregnant!

By the way, I’m sorry for all the sore boobs, ladies. No, I’m not looking forward to it hahah! I’m going to try and breastfeed for a few months, if I can. Sounds like an absolute nightmare though Blush

Good plan. The worst boobs are post-pregnancy didn’t breastfeed boobs. I know two women who actually felt compelled to show me their empty sock boobs from (they felt) not breastfeeding. The horror of quick shrinkage? Who knows. But they were so sad.

After they have deflated you can sing this with us.

Do your Boobs hang low
Can you swing 'em to and fro
Can you tie 'em in a knot
Can you tie 'em in a bow

Do your boobs hang low
Do you get a painful feeling
When you throw 'em at the ceiling
Do your Boobs hang low

Do your Boobs hang low
Can you swing 'em to and fro
Can you tie 'em in a knot
Can you tie 'em in a bow
Do they get real sore
When you drag 'em cross the floor
Do your Boobs hang low

My boobs are remarkably ok. I'm not trying to be boastful I just wanted to say that its not always dramatically different. My lower stomach on the other hand.. Shock

Racecardriver · 15/05/2018 19:46

Wait until you stay breastfeeding.

My pregnancy boobs were ok. Breastfeeding ones were a nightmare. Huge, leaky and solid as rocks when I woke up every morning after a few hours of not feeding.

CheeseyToast · 15/05/2018 20:43

Crikey how many of these threads do we need.

TheMasterNotMargarita · 15/05/2018 20:47

Hundreds @CheeseyToast.
The place is hoooching with tits.

Candlelight123 · 15/05/2018 21:01

My boobs went from c to an ff when I was pregnant. I swear they started from somewhere under my arm pits. I couldn't get my arms down flat they went that big. Then I had my baby and the milk came in... thennthey were really big.

Angharad07 · 17/05/2018 01:28

@mirrorwriting hahahahh thanks for the poem!

My mum’s breasts went from a C cup to a double J with me Blush and she’s since had a breast reduction because she’s caused nerve damage in her back. I’m really not hopeful for myself...

Mine looked like a I had an amazing boob job until I gave birth. They were uplifted and very solid looking, dh loved them!

RadioGaGoo · 17/05/2018 05:44

It might not be a nightmare OP. I complain about BF woes, but it's generally lighthearted, as are some of these comments.
