... to call in sick with suspected UTI?

I always get such a guilt on about phoning in sick, but I’ve been up all night feeling like the world is going to fall out of my fanny when I pee (every few minutes). Add to that stomach, back ache and shivers. I shouldn’t go should I? Sad

Incidentally does anyone have any remedy ideas in case I can’t get a doctors appointment. If I have any more cranberry juice I think I’ll barf.

Not unreasonable at all - its not as if you're faking it.

I used to get UTI's very often, once i felt it i knew I had about an hour to get to a GP before I started losing bladder control.

My GP was good enough to write me 3 repeat scripts at a time so i could go straight to the chemist without an appointment.
Once I had the antibiotic in me i was right as rain very quickly and could usually head back into work for the afternoon.
