DP is abroad. He went out with mates, had an argument and got split from them. Called me at 3am because he couldn't find his way back to his hotel. I was chatting to him and helping him via maps and sobriety.
He went off the phone to look properly at maps and I haven't heard from him since.
His phone is dead and just spoke to his brother whose sharing a room with him and he's not back yet.
He hasn't used the joint account and doesn't have any other money on him.

Best case scenario he's fallen asleep drunk, but he's in a big city, not really sure what to do.

Why anger? His phone died and he sorted himself out in a few hours. Doesn’t sound like much to be angry about

Exactly!

Only anger as I was annoyed at him putting himself in danger. I guess it's a bit ott, we have a new baby and we've had quite a few conversations about being safer now and less reckless (we're in our mid 30s)
Meh. My anger didn't last very long he managed to dissipate it and truly I am happy he's ok. Probably need to have a word with myself re: early morning melodrama!
