To break up with my personal trainer?

I work flexible hours so I can start work quite long but still have to do a full day.

I keep asking for 6am slots (like I used to have!) and he says those slots are too busy now.

Aibu because technically I could do later, I just don’t want to?

Also he’s not updated my training program since January.

I know what you mean when you call it breaking up though - you do develop a pretty close relationship with a trainer! However, he's not really taking your needs into account any more, which is what he's being paid to do.

It's a business relationship after all.

I'd text or email him saying:

Hey X
I'm disappointed that you can no longer make the 6am slot that I have asked for, so I'm going to look for a new PT who will be available at a time to suit me.
Thanks for everything you've helped me achieve so far.
