Just thought I'd ask other people's opinion on this subject.

Does it annoy anyone else that there always seems to be thumping dance music at everything?

Fun fair in the park; bouncy castles and face painting for children but ALSO REALLY LOUD DANCE MUSIC

shopping in Asda REALLY LOUD KANYE WEST PLAYING ALL THE WAY ROUND

Neighbours 1 year old birthday party MEGA LOUD DANCE MUSIC

fireworks MEGA LOUD.... OK you get it.

I wouldn't mind it if it was cheesy hits or like Ed sheerhan or something crap... But you know, why is it always like adult night club music all. The. Time?

I always feel like I'm a grumpy old woman around Christmas time.

The shops are crowded, everyone's pushing and shoving and just to add to my misery I've got to contend with sodding 'Do they know it's Christmas' for the millionth time. Drives me up the wall.

This is one of the reasons I like Aldi. No music. Bliss.
The music they play in our local Co-op is execrable.

Stopthatalreadyok · 05/05/2018 20:11

Haha yeah I get serious Christmas music fatigue too

QueenOfIce · 05/05/2018 20:17

It's all very nice having an 'autistic hour' but how unfair just 1 hr a bloody week to shop in peace.

Turn the fecking music down I can't hear myself think!

Stopthatalreadyok · 05/05/2018 20:32

@queenofice yes i was thinking this too! Why only an hour?!

eggsandchips · 05/05/2018 20:35

@alonghardwinter you are so my kind of person. I can't stand this either.

eggsandchips · 05/05/2018 20:38

Oh - and clothes shops. I avoid ones with booming music shudder.

The warm weather brings with it noise. For me there's nothing better than going somewhere people free on a day like today to absorb a bit of tranquility.

Although - I will be tuning into Eurovision next week, it just won't be on at ear splitting level :)

Andrew Grin you must've have been at the end of your tether, good for you. I should try that next time.
