I'm beyond drained.
I have had a hectic day getting lose ends sorted. As well as DS off school sick and a two month old baby..
I have just sat down now after a soak and feel a sense of achievement, all the odd jobs done that been putting off since baby born.
Dp is at work, will be home about 2am.. He left at 8am and only popped home for an hour.
And now I'm sat down half asleep but also scrolling thro here, wanting to unwind but also want to crawl into bed and sleep..
Does anyone else do this.. Think ' just 5 more mins' and then ends up being hours on here?

And now the cat's just sat on me, so I can't move off the couch.

Yup. And I only went to sleep two hours ago and now up with a sick toddler. I say up... everyone else is back asleep but I can smell sick but can’t find where it is. So I’m sat drinking tea pissing away valuable sleeping time on the internet.

Me too. Such a hypocrite telling teen DC earlier that the hour they'd spent looking at memes etc after school was 'more than enough, thank you'!

Yeah, it gets worse! I got up for the loo two hours ago after Mumsnetting myself to sleep last night and. And I’ve been here ever since. Have to be up at 7. Doesn’t really seem any point going back to sleep now. Mumsnet is a hard taskmaster. She is my heroin.

It's just fascinating! People's issues and the multi-various advice they get is wild. I am obsessed.
