To ask how I can work out my ‘life goals’?

I’ve been reading a lot about time management recently.

A few of the things I’ve read have suggested that readers work their ‘life goals’ and then set up yearly, monthly, weekly and daily to-do lists that feed into achieving long-term goals.

I think that this makes a lot of sense, and I can definitely see this being a good way of approaching life management.

The only thing is, aside from obvious things like wanting to have a stable job and a supportive group of family and friends, I’m really not sure what my life goals are. I completely understand that they’ll change over time, but it would just be interesting to know how I could come up with some.

Does anyone have any idea about how I can work them out please?

Thanks :)

Do you have a set career/professional?

Try reading Change your life in 7 days by Paul McKenna- really good for the goal setting chapter but all interesting 😊

How about starting with more of a Life's Wish List? Write down anything and everything you can think of that you might want to do or accomplish in your life. Travel, work, fitness, whatever. Then after you've had time to really think, you can work on more specific goals.

These are all great ideas - thanks, everyone!

Whyareall yes - I’ve just started full-time work with a public sector organisation. I’m hoping it will lead to a career, as the organisation is known for having good career progression opportunities, but it’s very early days! :)
