I'm 40 this year to conincide wjth ds starting school and definitely never going back to the beginning!

31 - she's 37 now! And that was pretty old then.

When I had my first at 28, I was down in my notes as an 'elderly' primigravida. The other mums on the ward were max early 20s, and one of them, only 19 IIRC, said, 'I hope I look like you when I'm 28!'

Made me feel more like 58!

A dd's friend recently had no. 2 at 42, and another had no. 2 a year or so ago at 45. Dd just managed to squeeze no. 2 in before she hit 40.

37 when DC3 arrived (one miscarriage before DC1). Made a mental file note 20 minutes before DC3 was born that this was bloody painful and I wouldn't be going through it again. I remember making the file note, but I don't now remember the pain!

19 (had my first at 18 and planned 23 months between them)
