I'm just having a bit of a rant as I'm not feeling very well and just cannot be arsed at the moment!
We have a new starter at work. Since we are a very small team he is responsible for running things when I have my days off, then I run things when he is off and we have a few days working together when its busiest.
I'm just a bit frustrated because I come in after my days off and not only is the place a bit of a mess which means I need to clean and tidy up before I even start, but there are jobs which have either been left not done (and no note left to tell me they need doing) or have been done but to such a small extent that I have to redo them. This is in addition to all the extras things I have to do in preparation for the busy days.
I've also noticed that there are small, non essential things that have been done but there are glaring, essential things that haven't.
I'm going to have to work through my break to get everything ready (apart from a quick stop for coffee and mumsnet) and I'm just irritated because I feel like he's had a lovely stress free couple days sorting stuff out for himself but not bothering to make sure I have the stuff I need for when he isn't here! And now I'm knackered and stressed up to the eyeballs because I have had to do some of his work and mine 
It doesn't help that I've had issues with a supplier so I'm going to have to go out in my own time and get supplies that we need, making my day even longer.
