My grandparents passed away within a year of each other - they brought me up, so it hit me really hard.

In their will, their assets were left to my uncle and the grandchildren. I always knew this would involve the sale of the house I grew up in, however I was extremely shocked and upset to find the house up on Zoopla - and posted only a few days after my grandad's funeral.

I know this is what happens when someone passes away, but am I wrong to think my uncle - the executor of the will - should have mentioned he was putting it up for sale? It seems to have happened so quickly and without much thought to anyone else? It seems that money makes people really ugly.

I know I'm probably to emotionally invested here - I hate the idea of someone living in the house that my grandparents worked so hard to buy.

Is be annoyed too.

My dads sister sold their mums house and my dad hasn’t seen a penny (it’s been two years now)
My dads the loveliest man you’ll ever meet so it’s not a case of he deserves it.
And because he is so nice he won’t Persue it. So she has all that money and he won’t make a fuss.

I actually hate her

Boring username was there a will?
Your dad, sister and any other siblings are next of kin so if there is no spouse it goes equally to the children.
