While Democrats already held #HD114, it was a competitive district and Republicans dramatically outspent and outorganized Democrats there, hoping a rare blue-to-red flip would energize GOP activists. They failed.

Well, according to the Nobel website, nominations close in February so at least he's 'out' for 2018. As to whether or not he's around for the 2019 prize remains to be seen.

Just caught up on today's posts. Some real light and shade there. The white supremacist stuff is appalling, well everything about this administration stinks but there's some particularly heinous stuff upthread. The recent Democrat house win and the Ty Cobb/impeachment specialist replacement seems vaguely cheering.

DH was pondering earlier on what compromat Donald Trump has on his doctor to get him to stake his career and professional reputation on such a gob smacking fib of a letter.
