Need traditional wedding invitations as in

Mr & Mrs A invite you to the marriage of their daughter

What online reasonably priced (or high street shop) could you recommend.
It seems to be proving very difficult to source!

Maybe CHAT or some other thread may be more helpful than one titled Am I Being Unreasonable.

I used a local independent print shop. They were less than half the price of the big high street chains etc. Was 18 years ago, but 70 invitations was about £16, John Lewis and WHSmith quoted £40+. Traditionally , it’s also a single unfolded sheet - much cheaper than folded !

@AntipodeanOpalEye . Was posting for traffic. Should maybe have quoted AIBU to ask.....

eBay! I struggled too. We used a company that allowed us to design and approve, we did post them ourselves though. Design was lovely on nice thick card, we got lots of positive comments, they also did matching RSVP cards with little envelopes. I ordered a handmade stamp with our names and address on for the returns. I was also able to order samples to check out the quality before hand

WhiteBobbles · 24/04/2018 16:57

Adorn online. Have a massive range and will print whatever wording you like, very reasonable but excellent quality!

Nanny0gg · 24/04/2018 16:58

YABvvvvR to use the word 'invitations'

'Invites' makes my teeth itch

When we used them we ordered about 8 different samples which arrived next day- samples cost about £1 each I think. We got 100 personalised invitations for about £200 with personalised envelopes. Takes about a week for them to arrive. Each design is a different cost.

FASH84 · 24/04/2018 17:00

Should've also said whatever the invites day you can completely personalise with your choice of language, so a lot are from the bride and groom but can easily be changed

@Charlie97 you can get some great printable designs on Etsy for relatively low prices, and the supplied files can be printed using an online printer such as Printed.com. I have previously designed wedding stationery for many friends and family and always use Printed.com as they are very competitively priced and the quality is always fantastic, with a number of card options so you can have something really modern or really traditional.

dontcallmelen · 24/04/2018 17:12

My dd found eBay really good, as pp ordered some samples & approved the wording, was very reasonable & quick.

CowesTwo · 24/04/2018 17:14

Where are you based, OP?

Charlie97 · 24/04/2018 17:27
