Mine is small but it drives me up the wall.

DS who is 3 pokes my face or eye when he wants my attention or to show me something.

It goes something like mummyyyyyy >poke< >poke< mummy mummmyyyy >poke<

It makes me scream on the inside.

Anyone want to share theirs?

The way my dc have the ability to stare at me like I am speaking a foreign language when I ask them to do something.

when they decide 5 mins before we set off to walk to school that they need to have a poo....desperately!!!!

When I say its bedtime and they suddenly need a poo.

When I say lunch is ready and they suddenly need a poo.

My DC is almost two and thinks it's perfectly reasonable to jump on my face with his bum to wake me up in the morning. Other times he gives me a kiss, but more often it's his bum.

IAmMotherOfDragons · 24/04/2018 21:10

oooh..... I forgot. "here you go mum" then they pass you something. You ask what it is and they reply "a boogy"

Yeah thanks kid!!!

CalJo · 24/04/2018 21:30

My 16 month old has refused to lye down for nappy changes since about nine months. I learnt to change him standing up, but now he's walking he refuses to stand still so poo gets everywhere, drives me bonkers!

Allmyshilldren · 24/04/2018 21:37

My toddler loudly announces “MUMMY DID A POO” when it is in fact he who has done a poo. Usually in public.

Babybearsporij · 24/04/2018 21:37

DC2 will ask me a question and then keep asking me. It goes a bit like this:

DC2: "Can I have a drink please?"
Me: "Yes my darling" - goes to get drink
While I'm getting the drink and they have followed me into the kitchen to watch me
DC2: "Can I have a drink please?"
Me: "I'm getting it for you sweetie"
DC2 "Are you getting me a drink Mummy?"
Me: "Yes, just getting it now"
DC2: "Can I have a drink?"
Me: (through gritted teeth) "Yes I'm getting it right now."
DC2: "Are you getting me a drink?"
Me: (Internally shouting YES YES YES STFU!!!) "Yes look love, here it is"
DC2: "Thanks Mummy. Can I have a snack?"

And so it goes on.

Shouting poo a lot at dinner time.
Faffing when we are late.
Whining about being hungry when they have just eaten and then not eating their dinner.
Giving up without trying.
Jumping into my bed with no underwear or nappy on when they are meant to be getting in the bath.

elliejjtiny · 24/04/2018 22:15

Not sleeping
Insisting that they don't need the toilet, then weeing in their pants 3 seconds later
Borrowing my kindle charger and leaving it at pil's house
Leaving bowls of half eaten cereal in the living room
Behaving better for their dad than for me

Juanbablo · 25/04/2018 09:25

Making unnecessary squealing or squawking noises (well old enough to be past that stage where babies do this). It makes me jump and immediately sets me on edge.

Argue with each other just for the hell of it.

Refuse to eat something they liked the other day and apparently don't like today.

lonelytigger · 25/04/2018 11:03

Loving these!

I just remembered another but it's more DP than me.

DS(3) has to follow DP EVERYWHERE whenever we are out and about and that includes to the toilet.
DP has now started using stalls for everything as DS tells him where to "aim" and excitedly shouts "you did it!" and claps once DP is done Grin

Reading these makes me glad that I’m not alone. I think it’s pretty much been covered.. my ds is 11..
Going to bed and getting up in the morning is a battle. Won’t listen. Definitely has selective hearing.
A battle getting him into the bath, a battle getting him out of the bath!
Won’t put his dirty clothes in the laundry basket until I have screeched at him..
Recently I started getting him to hover his room on Sunday.. and that’s a battle. He knows he is supposed to be off his PS4 at 7 and at 6.55 I have reminded him of the time and at 7, he says he didn’t know it was 7 and he can’t pause or end his game... Arggggghhhh!

But in school, I am told he is an angel Grin

(Is it wrong to say these comments remind me of my DP rather than my DC ! )

BigSandyBalls2015 · 26/04/2018 23:39

Leaves every fecking light on in the house when they go to bed.

Last night I said I'm going up, can you please turn the lights off, yes mum blah blah. I turn most off anyway myself.

I'm first up in the morning and the house is lit up like Blackpool illuminations. Gives me the rage.

I even heard them coming up the stairs last night and called out to remind them 😡😡
