To expect a cleaner to empty bins.

We have a new cleaner and after she left the bathroom bin and waste paper baskets are still full. Surely this is a normal part of cleaning, to take out the bins?

@DanglyEarOrnaments Certainly not my opinion... all staff are hard to find and even harder to keep! So training them in whatever job/profession is important!

jk I strongly agree with that, this is the trouble we are up against as cleaning business owners across the UK. we all do struggle to hire and train the right staff for our business in time to meet demand but, personally, we are getting there slowly. It takes a lot of filtering procedures to make this work and demand puts us all under pressure with this. My advice to other's at the hiring stage of their business is 'never hire out of desperation' Always turn away work before you hire someone you are not entirely sure of and have a trial period before you commit.

Ive been a cleaner. My boss always told me what they expected doing, so we were both clear. Communicate what you expect.

Mine doesn’t and I wouldn’t expect her to. Bathroom bins might be full of nasty surprise, anyway I generally empty them the morning before she comes so she never has to

Nicer problems to have Wink
