Balls over the fence - how often should I throw them back?

Next door neighbour's child is hoofing at least one a day into my garden and if I don't throw it back within a couple of days I get a note through my door asking me to return it.

WIBU to wait a week and throw them back all at once? I have a disc bulge and it hurts to bend over

When you're ready. Worth explaining your pain issues and saying you won't be doing it more than say once a week. Don't let the kids do it. They will be in your garden every day and knocking to collect them. If he climbs into your garden I would honestly contact police. Completely out of order. Ignore notes.

I think it's incredibly rude they put a note through your door instead of knocking and politely asking.
Put a note back saying you'll throw them back once a week because you get severe pain from bending over.
