Let's face it they were a nightmare together it didn't really work with them but they both tried to jeopardize each other's subsequent relationships.

They both had different views of what a break entailed.

I don't think Ross should have stormed out before talking everything through, quite childish really.
I don't think Rachel should have invited Mark into her home, I agree that it's inappropriate. She kept telling Ross it was a work relationship, but she's seeing him outside work which changes the relationship.
Ross shouldn't have slept with someone else, fully broken up or not, it's tacky and be didn't treat Chloe particularly well either.
And running around town trying to hide the truth from Rachel is pretty crappy too when relationships are built on honesty and trust.
Ross is more in the wrong, and definitely is a sulking, tantruming, controlling child. Rachel should have dumped his ass ages ago.
But they both should have let each other move on, they spent years sabotaging each other's relationships which is petty and means neither one of them got a chance to find happiness.
