To think periods and Hollywood waxes shouldn't mix?

So I've got a Hollywood wax booked for Monday. First time I've been to this beautician. Tonight I've unexpectedly gotten my period (on the implant and this is the first in 6 months). Should I cancel my waxing. Would it be disgusting for the beautician to wax me (everything off Hollywood) while I'm wearing a tampon?

Got a meet up with lover on Thursday and want to be fuzz free down there, help.
