I've had pain over my chest and back that feels like sunburn for a week. It's very uncomfortable, I can't wear a bra, my clothes rubbing on my skin hurts. I've recently been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and after a google search this week realised this sunburn feeling is common symptom. However over night I have developed a painful blisters in a patch on my back in the centre, The skin feels hard. I'm wondering what it could be? Im now wondering if the skin sensitivity I have been having isn't fibromyalgia symptoms at all, but related to this rash. I couldn't get into my doctors today and have to try again tomorrow. I am getting very anxious. Does any have any ideas please? Thanks!

Shingles. Get to the GP for anti virals

Shingles was my first thought too

It's worse this morning and I've been up all night with my DD who has slapped cheek.

Yes, shingles

Looks like shingles to me however I would have it checked out just to be sure. I had it recently. It's can be very painful if not treated and the earlier you are medicated the less painful it'll be! (I learnt this the hard way). Try and stay away from anyone you know who hasn't had chicken pox. It's not actually that easy to catch chicken pox from shingles without actually touching the rash but it's better to be safe than sorry. Speedy recovery! Thanks
