I feel 50 things at once

AIBU to start this thread just because I'm waiting in hospital to have a caesarean (first DC) and I desperately need a distraction?

It could happen at any point today, unless they get too busy with emergencies and then it will be pushed to tomorrow.

I'm sat here in a boiling hot hospital room, all trussed up in my gown and sexual socks.

All I want in the entire universe is a cold glass of fresh orange juice, but all I'm allowed to consume is 50ml of water an hour, which comes in a urine sample pot for extra lols.

DH is here, on his phone, looking like he really needs some sleep. I am so scared and excited and so many other emotions. GrinShockConfused

@NellythePink I've been on the ball loads! And out for a nice walk this morning to make the most of the good weather Smile have just ate some pineapple and Easter egg and now watching trashy TV.

You managing to keep your mind occupied?

@UpstartCrow @nadinexxx ok, that doesn't sound too bad. I bet the not being able to feel your legs or walk bit is strange. And the catheter

@BabyBooDue the big question here is how do you still have any Easter eggs left Shock that sounds like a lush day.

I must say your gown looks nicer than mine! Mine was supposed to be tomorrow then was moved to today then pushed back to allow an emergency today so that's been a bit difficult! It's exciting to know that we'll meeting them soon though!

It's strange when I saw, over the curtain, a leg be lifted up into the air and then another one and then I realised oh right that's MY legs Grin.

How everyone, sorry for the delay. It has been a completely crazy couple of days. A planned section that turned into an emergency one - easily the most terrifying experience of my life so far. But then I got to meet this little poppet, and things have been pretty darn awesome since then ❤️
