First time mum here, we had a bedside crib but she would wake herself up by moving her arms about etc! So now I’ve ordered a cotbed that is coming next week, so basically how did you transition from cosleeping to having baby is her own crib? She is 6 months btw and neither of us are sleeping well anymore when she’s in bed Sad

I'd start by just seeing how it goes. Put her in her own bed, and expect her to be fine. Do give her some familiar things, and maybe something that smells of you.
I assume this has side rails to stop her getting out?
I'd try to catch up on some sleep so you are ready for a disturbed couple of nights. And remember when comforting her, to minimise the contact to get her back to sleep, soft light etc.

When my DC were older they would sometimes join us in bed, but I had a strict rule if you woke me you went back to your own bed. One DC was very good at not disturbing us so would be in bed with us quite often when I woke. The others wriggled too much and always got moved back.
