To be annoyed at DP

Lighthearted, but I am a bit annoyed. We are one of them coupl3s that has separate duvets purely for the fact that I’d freeze to death in winter if we didn’t. DP wraps himself like a mummy so quite often I’d wake up as a block of ice. He goes to bed earlier as he gets up for work early. So by the time I go to bed the cheeky fucker is using my duvet on top of his own leaving my side of the bed cold. It then takes me 5 minutes to pry them off him and a further 30 minutes of him moaning he’s cold till finally he gives up.. AIBU to think when I come to bed I should be entitled to my covers hassle free when he’s got his own! 😂

Used to love naked sleeping and cuddling up until we had DC and started cosleeping - a single duvet for everyone sounds perfect for us!

We sleep in separate bedrooms but every now and then he sneaks back into my bed for a sleep. Makes me well annoyed when my clean fragrant bed then smells like stinky man.

Think the thick wool/cotton flannel pyjamas of old, as favoured by my late grandfather, are just the thing for your husband Smile My husband is like a night storage heater in reverse - he kicks out so much heat at night that I find myself shuffling over to the cool of the edge.

I think even if Tom Hardy wanted to “snuggle naked”, I would eventually give him a backwards elbow in the ribs and tell him to get “back in his half” when I finally wanted to go to sleep! I can only dream, eh? Grin
