My DP and I are staying in a bed & breakfast in Windermere. Lovely little place, gorgeous rooms and really friendly owners. There are 8 rooms so small and the hotel is full.
We're here for 3 nights, last night was our second. We turned our TV off at about 10pm and were probably asleep by 10.15pm as we'd been out all day walking and were shattered.
At 12.30 we were both woken up by very loud music/TV coming from the room above, a mans voice could also be heard as he shouted over the music. We both lay there listening and couldn't believe how loud it was.
By 1am we'd had enough. My DP went up and knocked on the door, the music stopped then went on again, he knocked a second time and asked (through the door) to be quiet. They refused to come to the door.
We settled back down thinking fair enough, maybe they've had a drink and were back in from the pub. But no.
They then started walking about and within 10 minutes we could here the rhythmic movement of 2 people having sex. We could also hear them moaning in ecstasy. My DP thought they were faking but I'm not so sure. This went on for another 20 minutes. Then we heard more talking - not quiet, it's 1.30 in the morning talking, but a full blown conversation.
They then had sex again, same moaning and squealing. By now it's 2am. I must have fallen asleep by about 2.30.
I'm all for having a good time, I love a meal and a few drinks and a bit of holiday sex but this isn't a Club 18-30 hotel, i am always very conscious of my behaviour in a small b & b like this. I just can't believe how inconsiderate they were. They have a room above them and to the side so they too must have heard the nights antics.
We can now hear loud snoring!!
