To think that 13 is not an adult

TUI class 13 year olds as adults. AIBU to think that as a 13 year old can't drink alcohol that they shouldn't pay the adult price for all inclusive (NB booking is for 2 adults and a 13 year old so not making up a second adult)

My 13 year old DS eats way more than me!! I agree about the alcohol, maybe that’s where it would balance out for us as a family 😂

I totally agree, some Hotels count 11+ as Adults. Adults generally over indulge on AL, so there is no way that kids eat/drink the equivalent of Adults and lets face it, if you didn't have young teens, you wouldn't book a lot of the places that you do, or they couldn't sting you for term time prices.

It’s based on size isn’t it? I had reached my adult height of 5ft 7” with size 6 feet etc by the time I was 13 and therefore I think that’s why they count by that age.

It isn't based on size, it's based on greed. Going abroad has become the norm. so they know people will pay.

Saying that, for Adults, I don't think that holidays are overpriced. I don't think that families should be propping up the cheap flights to Stag/hen destinations, though, but we can't dictate to private businesses.
