Honestly I think we are getting very close to being the ones in pictures of war torn countries and it's just bloody scary. I don't want to sitting in the rubble of buildings scared for my babies, that's if I'm lucky .

Understatement of the decade

It’s posturing. The US and Russia aren’t going to go to war anytime soon. They have too much to lose and nothing to gain.

They bombed 3 empty buildings apparently. It's all theatre, it won't be world war 3 (I hope )

They bombed the chemical factories & storage facilities - they weren't aiming to kill civilians. But Syria is obviously not going to be happy about it.

On twitter local residents are posting vids of the missiles from their windows/streets. They're not in danger but it still freaks me out. Live streamed war, from their bedrooms to ours.

I don't want the 21st century to be blowing people up and hearing their last words as they happen, then watching the screen go black: "connection lost."

This is shit.

But then the footage of the bBies and children who'd been hurt in the chemical attack was utterly shit too (inadequate; there are no words).

I despair of this ever being resolved. Poor poor Syrians. Poor world. Fucking Assad. Fucking Putin. Fucking Trump. Fucking May.

Certainly not willy waving! UK, US and French have struck Syria. Russians have stated there will be " consequences" . Trump and May are fucking idiots.
It's a mess.
