To not be able to put my finger on the Norwich accent?

I'm really interested in accents (sad I know!) And it's really annoying me that I can't put my finger on the Norwich accent. Any ideas? What is the Norwich accent? It's not a Norfolk accent, anyone shed any light? Disclaimer - I find accents fascinating and I recognise this is prob the world's dullest aibu!

That's hilarious! about the schools. My school was predominantly non accent, so perhaps they were right!
are you moving there ?

I would love to but at the moment I'm just there for the next 6 months for work, on and off.

I've been to lots of cities for work (usually spend a few days in the relevant office) and my favourites are Norwich and Brighton!

Oh that makes me feel quite proud! most people think Norwich is a shithole!
TBF - there are lots of nice bits and lots of grim bits! as a visitor you probably only see the nice bits!

I love Naaaaaaarch. DH went to UEA back in the day and we visited friends there a few weeks ago. 'Cit-eee' is weird! I'm also a Partridge fan so I love all the local colour.
