Saw good place to rent at a very reasonable price, fits a lot of my needs - I'm not familiar with area though?

Is borders Hackney and seems to be close to Dalston and a big park.

I'm coming from Hampstead / West Hampstead and venturing outside my bubble for the first time in 5 years! But feel like I'd like to try somewhere new in a way plus where I am now is very expensive.

Is it ok?

it is a really good area. Years ago i lived on Albion road, and these days i sometimes stay in my godmothers flat on Petherton Road.

It has a really interesting history, as back in the old days, it was the countryside outside London, and for some reason a lot of dissenters and educationalists lived there, and started small schools.

I believe Mary Wollstonecraft may have lived there.

It also has some very old buildings.

Yes I read some really interesting history of the area! More recently, one of the local churches was at the forefront of marriage rights for lgbtq people, which sounds pretty open minded.

Need to pack. God, packing in a rush is loathsome. Will be worth it though!!

Which part did you move to? And what was your experience? Good, bad and the ugly please!

Thanks
