I try to get most of our weekly shop in one go with a weekly online delivery (except the odd small shop in between). I had a delivery on Wednesday, and to my annoyance this morning I noticed that the food I had planned for today and the weekend was all out of date. So I've just had to chuck out a whole chicken, some chicken breasts and some lamb steaks as they all expired yesterday or today (ie a day or two after they were delivered). Is this normal? Not very helpful for trying to plan ahead and now I have to go out again! Grrrrr!
