To think the vacuum should be treated better

Went to use the vacuum and it wasn't on the charger in the laundry. Remembered housemate vacuumed on Monday afternoon, so still in her room 3 days later.

Planned to ask for it last night but she stayed in her room not coming out, so I forgot about it. I peaked into her room this morning to see upright handle part of my vac lying on the floor under stuff and the motor/canister about 3-4 feet away from it and in the middle of the en-suite doorway.

It is in danger. Grin Should I go in and rescue it before it is stood on?

Seriously though, I need to vac up the cat fur and it will need charging before I can use it. WIBU to just enter her room and take back my vacuum?

Nope. You’re fine to go rescue it

I really don't like going into other's rooms without permission but after dwelling on this for a couple of hours, I went to get the vacuum.

Two things have left me feeling unhappy -

Firstly, keeping something communal closed away in your own personal space for days - a bit inconsiderate.

Secondly, not taking better care of someone else's costly equipment - rude. Leaving it on the floor in the middle where you walk is asking for trouble.
