Having bottles to go to bed with.

To make my life easier (single mum, no help), I started giving my DS a bottle to go to bed with. Now, he screams if he doesn't get one, so as you can imagine, he now gets one every time.

He has one for his nap morning, afternoon and then when he goes to bed.

He will NOT go to sleep without one. How do I even start to stop this?? Have I messed up??

I've made a rod for my own back haven't I Sad

Have they investigated diabetes insipidus (it causes thirst and excess urination but isn't related to blood sugar)? Also, did they do an actual blood test for the diabetes (type one) or just a urine test?
