in the vein of angsty dating posts appearing thought I would ask one of my own Blush

Chatting to a guy off POF and comparing what we did after uni

Him: I taught in a Spanish uni as a sports coach - I was only 22 and they were 18+. Would often go out with my students and even became romantically involved with a couple Blush
Me: ha really? Did you not feel like the creepy teacher
Him: no not really, we were all similar ages and it was good for my language skills! Was weird seeing the girls in my classes though
Me: yeah just a bit! I can imagine
Him: it was only two I hasten to add.
Me: yolo I guess! I was a lot more well behaved! No couples high jinks for me

Since realised he was referring to two students not threesomes. Quite embarrassed! Can I style it out.

Creepy fucker who thinks he's gods' gift. Teachers shagging their students is always inappropriate, because the teacher is there to teach the students, not regard them as his personal box of sweeties - and if he's picking one or two per class to shag, it's uncomfortable for the others to be aware that there are 'teachers' pets'.

What he's basically saying to you is he likes to have sex with women who have some (spurious) reason to worship him and be glad he chose them.

Ick.

When I was 19 I went out with a guy who was 29, needless to say I don't think this is all that bad. I might add he was one of the best guy's I've ever dated, don't think my mother was best pleased though.

Lacucuracha · 01/04/2018 03:46

By did he feel the need to talk about his romantic conquests in a conversation about you did after uni?

Seems like he wanted to shoehorn it in like he's some lothario.

Lacucuracha · 01/04/2018 03:46

*Why did he

DarkRoomDarren · 01/04/2018 03:57

@eveforever

It’s not the age difference though is it? It’s that he was in a position of responsibility. An 18yo going out with a 22yo is fine surely, but it’s generally not fine for teachers to date pupils. Was he actually a teacher though or a student who also coached a sports team?

Either way, it’s weird he’s talking about it so early on. Why would you? He sounds like he’s bragging about his conquests which is definitely grim.

EasterRobin · 01/04/2018 04:19

I didn't think threesome when I read your message so I think you're fine there.

Erm, he's lacking in moral boundaries though, so I'd move along now anyway.

Mightymucks · 01/04/2018 04:21

Why on earth do you think it was a threesome? I can’t see anything in what he said which suggests it was. That is a huge conclusion to jump to.

AjasLipstick · 01/04/2018 05:20

I was only 22 and they were 18+. Would often go out with my students and even became romantically involved with a couple blush

That is why OP thought he meant a threesome. If he was with "a couple" as in two students who were already in a relationship, then that would be a threesome.

but by "a couple" he just meant two.
