It's such a weird position for a baby to be put into.

They're not photoshopped. It's an actual photo of a posed newborn. All about taste. I'm not a fan. But baby Rooney is super cute!

NotAgainYoda · 30/03/2018 16:03

Ohhhhh! It's the baby of Potato-Face. I thought his/her first name was Rooney

hibbledibble · 30/03/2018 16:04

It is a composite taken from several images. This pose isn't safe, which is why it isn't done.

So nothing to be angry about!

NotAgainYoda · 30/03/2018 16:04

It's a bit Anne Geddes
Put it in a flower pot and it would be 100%

saltandvinegarcrisps1 · 30/03/2018 16:06

It's (serial shagger) Rooney's 4th son Cass Mac.

Yuck, I hate staged baby portraits, with the poor wee thing in forced poses. So naff and tacky. Nope!

MumofBoysx2 · 30/03/2018 16:08

No, I hate it too! Either the baby is in a totally unnatural position, or (I hope) it's photoshopped. Either way, why do it? Babies are beautiful in their own way, why spoil it with a distracting pose. I also hate the enormous props in these newborn pics. Tacky, and in the future it will be so dating. Just the baby is enough!

kimanda · 30/03/2018 16:27

Photoshopped.

BrendasUmbrella · 30/03/2018 16:56

He's sitting like a frog! Cute but odd.

Archietheinventor · 30/03/2018 18:00

WTF? The feet are in totally the wrong place - it HAS to be photoshopped (for those that say it hasn’t been)

BattleaxeGalactica · 30/03/2018 18:44

Didn't realise these things were photoshopped but it's been done v. badly.

Looks like a composite of several different babies' arms and legs.

PortiaCastis · 30/03/2018 18:47

I wonder what the child's Mother thinks

megletthesecond · 30/03/2018 18:49

It's horrible. Why photoshop a sqidgy baby into an odd position Confused.

Hygge · 30/03/2018 18:55

I thought his first name was Rooney at first, then I thought you were replying to someone using the name Cass Mac on here, but I can't find a poster with that name on the thread, so I've decided that must be the baby's actual first name.

Is the poor squashed baby actually called Cass Mac Rooney?

Fruitcocktail6 · 30/03/2018 18:59

If it is photoshopped why would you photoshop a baby into a weird position! How weird!!

BustopherJones · 30/03/2018 19:01

I don’t get these photos at all. Babies are cuter as they are in reality I think.

SouthwarkSkaters · 30/03/2018 19:14

To the PP who said it looked like a frog, this is actually called the frog pose Grin. It's normally halves of two photos photoshopped together, and it's very popular. This is how it's done.

It’s hideous

Notso · 30/03/2018 19:18

It's just like all the other newborn baby shoots that seem to be compulsory at the moment.
Naked babies, in uncomfortable looking positions, in daft hats, in knitted cocoons or all three. It's like the cake smash photo shoots.
They might as well all be the same baby they have become so generic.

DeputyBrennan · 30/03/2018 19:30

I had no idea these photos are often photoshopped/composites. I’ve seen a few facebook friends posting similar ones and thought they were a bit strange. I’m not a fan.

Fruitcocktail6 · 30/03/2018 20:16

Utterly hideous to photoshop babies into weird positions. I had no idea it was a thing. Why would you photoshop your beautiful newborn! I just cannot understand.

Laiste · 30/03/2018 20:24

I was bought up to believe if you can't say something nice say nothing.

So i'm saying nothing ...

CluedoAddict · 30/03/2018 20:29

I hate these type of pictures. I see them all the time on Facebook.
