It's all over my Facebook how McDonald's Monopoly has started, but every time I've ever had one during Monopoly season, zilch happens! I just wondered if anyone on here has actually succeeded at it, or if it's just a play for more customers?

Yeah, hot drinks only have stickers on when part of a meal, due to the loyalty coffee scheme.

My husband won us a weekend away in the UK a couple of years ago, dinner bed and breakfast. IIRC the “rare” sticker had different info on it, instead of telling you the other stickers you need, it had the details of how to claim, so it was obvious when you got it that you had won.

Creambun2 Yes It comes up telling us if we need to add a double or triple sticker, and then we add that (we have our own rolls of them) to the qualifying product (salad, hot drink, bottles etc) when assembling the order.

I seem to recall this game was different years ago. You had to collect a set of colours to win a certain amount of cash. People in school had the boards (which were the tray liners) - obviously 2 out of 3 were very common with the third being rare.

We just now have more (four) ways to play - the property game board as you just described (although we no longer have the little book you stick them in, you just collect and hand them all in), instant wins, online prizes and collect any ten random property stickers for a Now TV pass.

I won a cheesburger once from a sticker thrown on the floor. Sadly id never win as i havent advanced past happy meals..free toy, drink and food although havent been since the price went up from 1.99

And technically if only a few big prize stickers are availability..they could end up unpeeled in bins..

SIL won an experience voucher so she's going hot air ballooning and we won a meal. We've had the odd random things too.

My ex let a teenage girl (about 16ish) peel off my stickers (she was going from table to table asking if she could have them) when I was in the loo once. She won fries and a coke. He couldn’t grasp the why I was very murdery towards him. I came back to my meal to find black empty spaces where my tickets were. (I was playing the game and had the game card with me).
