Going back to work soon after being on mat leave with dc3

Was thinking this morning how will i ever get out on time... maybe a nice shower gel will wake me up up and set me up for for the day HmmConfused

Well here’s hoping! Don’t mind paying a bit more if it works....

So ladies what’s do I need to buy??

I can’t say any bathroom product has ever had me leaping out of bed! 🤣

After reading a thread on here I’m back to using bar soap, but due to fragrance sensitivities I’m trying out vegetarian friendly, fragrance free, non palm oil soap. Let’s just say, it’s not going to get anyone leaping out of bed.

...the coffee machine, however, hmmmm

Forget the shower gel, buy the beans!! 🤣

Another vote for lush happy hippy, such lemony goodness

GinUser · 22/03/2018 21:01

Molten Brown's Templetree takes me straight to Sri Lanka, where I love to holiday.
However, I have just defected to Tom Ford's Neroli Portofino, which is on order. We will see...

brownelephant · 22/03/2018 21:02

weleda citrus shower gel is nice too, but I prefer bar soap.

muffyduffster · 22/03/2018 21:02

If you're near a Sephora on hols or anything their mango gel is glorious and lasts ages

SnowiestMountain · 22/03/2018 21:03

Just quickly put some Badedas on my tesco shop for tomorrow, I've never heard of it before!

Calic0 · 22/03/2018 21:04

Milton Brown Rhubarb and Rose is my absolute favourite.

Although Badedas takes me back to being a child so wins nostalgia points...

Calic0 · 22/03/2018 21:04

Molton Brown!

Bumdishcloths · 22/03/2018 21:05

I'd love it if Badedas came in bar form (need to get out more, obviously) Blush

Lauraandbump2 · 22/03/2018 21:06

Seem to be against the grain here, but I'm not a fan of anything fruity unless it's summer. I love Imperial Leathers Marshmallow, a comforting scent that makes me a little happier in the mornings.

LucheroTena · 22/03/2018 21:07

I don’t like shower gel much but molten brown pink pepper pod is divine. I like a nice soap- much cleaner- white company ones are very nice and last longer than shower gel.

DorisDayisMe · 22/03/2018 21:08

Molton Brown pink peppercorn

DrCoconut · 22/03/2018 21:10

Body shop moringa shower gel

Zoflorabore · 22/03/2018 21:11

I'm using Fenjal aswell, it's lovely.
I also have the matching spray.

It just feels all foamy and clean Smile

CandleWithHair · 22/03/2018 21:11

This Rituals one, it smells of eucalyptus and rosemary and it’s absolutely bloody GORGEOUS.

TheJoyOfSox · 22/03/2018 21:12

Whoosh, by Lush.

I don’t buy anything in plastic if I can help it, but lush do recycle their plastic containers.
Whoosh smells great!

FlamingGoat · 22/03/2018 21:13

Wilkinson's do a rather lovely lemon and black pepper shower scrub that's fabulous for the morning.

Pikehau · 22/03/2018 21:13

Thanks so much! I think shower gel shopping and sampling will fill up the rest of mat leave!

Def going to get Badedas and I like the look of the bar soap. Will also go and sniff some of the other more £ ones as I have some space nk and John Lewis vouchers and who knows maybe the alluring of a peaceful bathroom child free and a shower with a glass bottle gel might get me out of bed 10mins earlier!

I had forgotten about body shop pink grapefruit... I used it at uni... wonder what memories that will stir up! Wink

TheJoyOfSox · 22/03/2018 21:14

Although I’m currently using Imperial Leather bar soap as there is no plastic and I must admit I love the smell.. (I feel squeaky clean too)

AppleCocoon · 22/03/2018 21:17

Another for Badedas. It can seem expensive but it lasts ages because you use much less than other brands.

MotherWol · 22/03/2018 21:19

Weleda sea buckthorn - it's lovely and creamy with a sunny orange scent that's not too sharp.

GabsAlot · 22/03/2018 21:20

radox mandarin one and tesco own rasperry and pomemgranate i think its called

SnowiestMountain · 22/03/2018 21:22

Is this the right badedas? So sorry for hijacking your post OP!!

to ask what shower gel makes you want to get out of bed in the morning!
