Hi, everyone!

New here and this is my first thread as some advice frome people who know/live in Leeds area, please!)

Looking for a rent in a small green town to move in with two kids of a preschool age.

Some of crucial criteria are:

Soft water
Affordable prices to rent 3bed house
Minimum crime and drugs rates
Good primary school and preschool,
Green, friendly and quiet town
Sports, talent activities/classes
Close to shopping and amenities

Moving from Essex, in hope of finding a better place to bring up the kids, with more affordable prices, less urban, with a possibility of settling up a small farm in future.

Please, if any helpful advice you can provide, will be forever grateful! PM me if any questions))

Thanks! smile

I think your budget will determine where you live, which sounds obvious but parts of Leeds and surrounding areas are not cheap at all. I hope you get ur entire list! Water softness is an unknown but nice areas with nice schools i.e. Wetherby, Boston spa etc are really pricey and 700 for a three bed won't cut it tbh. But a remote place in Walton for example might work but you're not near anything and have to drive everywhere. Good luck, hope it works out.

If he needs to drive in to Leeds at rush hour, coming from the east would be better than from some of the locations suggested here. Also rent is likely to be cheaper than in places like Horsforth, Guiseley, and Chapel Allerton.

I would be looking in Rothwell, Garforth, Woodlesford, Outwood.

Morley worth a look too.
